All of our garden rooms are manufactured to order which gives us complete flexibility to work together with our customers to create a light airy modern living space within a traditional framework that will compliment your garden perfectly.
Our standard garden room design always includes fully insulated flooring, walls and roofing to ensure that your garden building is genuinely useable all year round. All garden rooms come complete with an electrical package with heating and lighting and are fully decorated to your specification.
Each garden room includes a timber framed double glazed door and double glazed windows which can be moved to suit your building design and it's location within your garden
Features
Walls
Twin skinned walls comprise stress graded CLS C16 studwork, externally clad with 32mm x 150mm traditional planed featheredge pressure treated boarding. Vapour barrier to BS. 100mm of insulation and 9mm moisture resistant MDF
Roofing
Twin skinned ridge roof sections comprise shadow rafters, main rafters and collar beams. Externally clad with treated Western Red Cedar shingles. Vapour Barrier to BS, 100mm insulation and tongue and grooved ceiling boards or moisture resistant MDF. Fascia and soffit, decorative finials with guttering and downpipe
Flooring
200mm deep closed floor sections comprising exterior grade plywood soffit, pressure treated joists, 150mm insulation, V313 moisture resistant chipboard flooring. All garden rooms are suspended on metal feet which sit on concrete foundations
Electrics & Lighting
Complete electrical system including a consumer unit with circuit breakers and RCD, double power sockets, directional halogen spotlamps and thermostatically controlled wall mounted convector heater. Fully tested to current Part P electrical guidelines
Doors & Windows
High performance hard wood doors and windows are all double glazed and fitted with neoprene weather seals. Windows have lockable handles and casement stays. Doors are hung with solid chrome fittings and secured with a 5-lever mortice lock and scroll handles
External Decor
All external wood is finished in a microporous paint of your chouce taken from our range. Code 4 lead flashing beneath all windows and doors. Barge boards and finials add the decorative touches
Internal Decor
Beautiful internal vaulted roofing timbers, skirting and pelmet are finished to enhance the natural features of the wood. All internal walls are painted in a vinyl matt emulsion of your choice taken from our range
